Recently we posted about how as obsessive lover’s of the bush, we choose to spend our leave exploring some of Africa’s great wilderness areas. At work, when we get a moment off, things are no different. Amongst the rangers, one of our most favourite areas is the Manyelethi River, in the north of the reserve. It’s an area that is wild and untouched, rugged and beautiful and the perfect place to explore.
Recently, James Tyrrell, Dave Strachan and I spent a morning walking the length of this winding riverbed and documented our experience shown in the video below. Come join us on our Manyelethi adventure…

Love the adventure!
Awesome video guys! Specially enjoyed the bit about the waterbuck and the Tsalala cubs of 2011. They were the cubs we saw at Londolozi that summer and have never forgotten. Lovely to walk the river bed with you, even if just in video. Look forward to someday doing it all again! Keep it up!
Great blog Amy and I loved the video! It was almost like getting to go on a bush walk with you, James and Dave! It really brings back some memories…thank you for sharing this with us.
