An Elephant Connection

Gently sauntering across grassy plains and threading her way through skeletons of archaic Ebonys, the elephant cow came closer to our stationary position. She seemed intrigued by our presence and her curiosity was evident. In a round about manner the cow drew closer still and then stopped just shy of the vehicle. Why Kingsley Heath Rocks

As a girl living deep in the African Bush, my weakness for Vogue, Prada and Ralph Lauren can get the better of me. So under the guise of a well planned ‘sales’ trip I nip off to New York or London to get my fix. Over the years I have met some incredibly stylish women on my travels: Liz Biden, Lizzie Westby-Nunn, Kirsty Ratcliffe and my own wonderful mum have each shown me a few fashion tricks….but the reality is that in the bush it is dust, heat and mud all the way. Riding to Break the Cycle of Hunger

Jess Boon, Londolozi Ranger, and Jaco Myburgh, Londolozi Executive Chef, recently embarked on a 44okm mountainbike ride from Londolozi Game Reserve to Ponto do Ouro in Southern Mozambique. ‘Riding to Break the Cycle of Hunger’ was both the name and the purpose of their adventure as the intent of the journey was to raise money for the Good Work Foundation. More specifically to use that money to buy food for Maggie Mnisi’s Creche and Eric Ubisi’s Orphanage in the communities surrounding Londolozi.
