Not even a goodbye photo or article on the two innocent matimba males that left us forever.

Great quote Nick. Enjoy the photo of the Piva male and the giraffe with the buffalo thorn.

Great photos Nick. Joost van der Westhuizen would be proud also to have his name and memory attached to these.

How fast can an adult ostrich run to escape danger? How about their 3 chicks?

It seems Londolozi is so involved with the Majingilanes that didn’t even bother to mention what has happened with the Matimbas (and their cubs with the Mhangeni pride) in the past weeks. (Well, excepting Callum Gowar who was kind enough to post a photo on Instagram announcing us that the Matimbas were back to Londolozi.)

Great tribute to Joost. Photos are fantastic, especially like the Mashaba young female, wild dogs and great angle on the Piva male. Can’t wait for your next week in pictures.

Beautiful pictures, Nick! I love the one of the Majingilane and wish that Hip Scar was there with them as well. Hopefully he will survive and live to patrol Londolozi once again with his brothers. Thank you for sharing your really stunning pictures!

Spectacular photography Nick! We are sitting here with our jaws agape. So intriguing to see how life progresses since we were there. Those ostrich “chicks” were just days old in October.
