The year 1926 is etched in our history when the forefathers of Londolozi first arrived to pitch their tents in the shade of a thousand year old ebony tree on the banks of the Sand River. And so 90 years later, in 2016, it seems fitting to celebrate this historic event and a remarkable nine decade love affair with this land.  This year, as part of our 90th anniversary celebrations we produced a three part online tribute to Londolozi, her land, her animals and her people.  The response has been overwhelming and we thank you all for your generous contributions and participation.  In case you have missed any of the video we present them all below in this post.  Enjoy…

I love these videos. I know about the story of Londolozi and I think it’s a special one. As a wildlife photographer with a very sincere love of animals and nature I wish I could come to Londolozi, but unfortunately I won’t be able to afford it for a long time. I hope some day my wish will come true and come to see this wonderful place with its great people and wildlife. Keep up the good work.

My husband and I spent there the best days in our long trajectory together in this world. Now that we have become proud parents of marvelous twins, we can’t wait for them to grow a little older and bring them to discover de precious of nature, the silence of life, the deepness of wild. Wish we can go to see you all soon again. Meanwhile I put these videos to my children so they can enjoy the miracle of nature at its best.
