Great blog, did his condition improve since tbe fight against the marthly male?

Alex, to be frank he is not looking great. When I saw him last, just under a week ago, his face was still fairly swollen, the gashes still raw (but not infected which is a great sign) and he was looking very skinny. However, the resilience of these animals always amazes me and I have no doubt that after some rest and a good meal, he will be back to his usual self!

Hi Andrea do you know what it was that gave him those nasty wounds before his first encounter with the marthly male over that warthog.

Hi Blair. Reports from the east indicated that he had been in a fight with some lions although we are not certain of which pride.

Great blog Trevor. Tu Tones is one of my favourite males, just like his father Camp pan. Lovely images.

Thank you for the wonderful history of Tu Tones. Visiting Londolozi is a dream of mine. I read this blog every morning with my coffee. And to be able to read stories about the lineage and antics of the incredible animals at Londolozi is something I treasure.
Thank you.

Thanks for Tu Tones history. Maxabene female (RIP!) did a great job raising him & his brother. I had wondered if Makothini male was still alive and hanging about and now I know. Maxabene, Vomba, Nottens (& Dudley Riverbank Female?) are gone, but its nice to hear of their successful offspring.

Thanks! Always good to know when a leopard has more than one name ( I think a need a spread sheet sometimes to keep track of leopard names & who is related to who). I will have to check out the Sabi Sabi blog.

My husband and I will be at Londolozi in April. Our kids live it there and we follow all the animals(I made a chart to keep track of names and who is who ) – I am beyond excited to be there in person to hopefully see some of the beautiful creatures! Love this blog! Bette J
