Impressive!
How much weight that warthog and how large is maxabeni young male?

Alessio the leopard is probably between 60 and 70kg. He still has a bit of growing to do, but he is big for his age, and having been fathered by the Camp Pan male, who we think is pushing 90kg, he has the right genes to end up a sizeable leopard.
The warthog was probably around 40kg.

Great shots JT, is maxabeni back to full strength? How’s his vision? Where was the kill?

John he’s back to full strength and his eye is pretty much 100%, although you can still see some residual scarring from the injury. This was in Circuit South drainage about 200m S of Main Road, just SW of that prominent dead leadwood.

Hi James,
My favourite leopard of Londolozi, have watched them since very young. Well done on some fantastic photographs. I see his dad taught him the tricks of the trade!
Kind regards,
Ted.
