Exciting news from Londolozi is that the one lioness from the Sparta Pride is mating! We were fortunate enough to watch the Scar-Nose as well as the Dark Maned Majingila Males mate with this female. Recently, the Majingilane Males followed this lioness all the way west out of their territory. Deep into enemy land they trudged on, lured on by the scent of a female in heat. Exciting times lie ahead and we wait in anticipation to see if the Sparta Pride can add some fire power to their forces. Al, just got that report myself. Southern Pride are indeed growing up, and with only two slightly aged Mapogo left, it seems it is almost the end of an era.
Still waiting to hear the full story though….
