I too love them all especially Camp Pan Male who looks so handsome, every marking defined. I can almost smell the earth, vegetation, tree bark and the animals. Black and white works beautifully.

Stunning David, glorious shots, and it feels like we are stepping closer to their world – do you know how much colour they see? I am not aware if the bigger cats have the same proportion of rods and cones as domestic ones.

Black and white photography is a much more ’emotional’ medium….I LOVE it. My favorites are the Maxabene 3:3 with the warthog; the warthog actually looks like part of the landscape, almost sculpturesque, while the leopard stands out in contrast. Also the last, the last of 3:4 female; it really has that farewell emotion…
Love the description of the short tail male with his tale up though…didn’t know they did that.
