My husband and I will be visiting Pioneer Camp mid September of this year. We have been planning this trip for many years, yearning for a taste of Africa and the wild. I have to say that this exact sighting would most certainly be the most exciting thing for me to witness as seeing rhino is at the very top of my bucket list and a baby rhino would be that much more special. Thanks for sharing and here’s hoping for many more in your journey.

What a great story Sean and, on one of your first experiences of taking guests out on safari. How awesome for you and what a sweet little calf. Reminds me of the baby ellie antics. Warms your heart. Good luck on your adventures at Londolozi.

Absolutely wonderful Sean! I wish you the best of luck in that beautiful park with amazing people & animals. Look forward to more from you. That little one & your description of its antics made it even more special, Thank you

A lovely heart warming blog Sean. My most favourite drive is when we enter the Maxabene to drive through it. Joy was our tracker once. He is such a lovely person. It is so precious to see a rhino calf. Our rhinos are so endangered that I feel some hope for the future when I read a story like yours.
