Can hardly wait to see him in April! So he’s the father of Nanga’s Cubs?

Hi Mary Beth. Yes we assume so 🙂 Look forward to having you back in April…

There is a certain envy watching someone being mesmerised by the bush for the first time but being with that person and seeing it through their eyes is also uplifting. What a privilege to see the Anderson Male.

Great blog,is the Anderson male still pushing south?

Hi Alex. No at the moment it doesn’t seem as though the Anderson male is pushing any further south. We have been seeing the Flat Rock male just south of the Sand River west of the camps and the Piva male just south of the Sand River to the east of the camps with the Anderson male staying north. It will be interesting to see what develops in the next few months with such prime territory lying open. Thanks, Amy

This is such a gift – to see the Anderson has been a dream of ours. We long to see him each time we come to stay. Maybe our dream will come true in a couple of weeks! Well done – truly amazing tracking!

Great story Shaun and the Anderson male is truly a beautiful cat. So glad that he appeared to be unhurt, except maybe his pride, with that fall. So glad that your trusty trackers (who are incredible) stayed with the clues and found him.

HI SHAUN,
AS ALREADY EXPRESSED TO YOU PRIVATELY, THANK YOU FOR THE EFFORTS BY YOURSELF, ELMON AND RICHARD IN ASSISTING ME TO FIND THIS ELUSIVE CAT!
WHAT A PRIVILEGE IT WAS, TO HAVE SEEN THIS MAJESTIC ANIMAL.
THE TRACKERS AT LONDOLOZI ARE INDEED AMAZING MEN, AND I SALUTE THEM, BUT IN PARTICULAR ELMON AND RICHARD, AS WELL AS SOME OF THE OTHER TRACKERS ESPECIALLY JUDAS, I HAVE HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF WORKING WITH OVER THE YEARS ON MY VISITS TO LONDOLOZI.
KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK AND TEACH THE YOUNG MEN YOUR GREAT SKILLS OF TRACKING, AND NOT BECOME SPOTTERS. YOU GENTLEMEN MAKE THE GUEST’S VISITS TO LONDOLOZI SO VERY SPECIAL!
I WILL SEE YOU SOON SHAUN AND ELMON, AND HYLTON AND I ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SPENDING SOME GOOD QUALITY BUSH TIME WITH YOU ONCE AGAIN.
REGARDS,
TED.

So great to see you again Ted! And thank you for your beautiful images. Look forward to having you and Hylton here again soon 🙂 All the best, Amy

Oh Shaun that was absolutely amazing! I am so glad that he wasn’t hurt & was able to climb the tree successfully the second time. I would like to you wish you & all the Londolozi family a very Happy Christmas & Peaceful 2017. When I return from Addo in January, look forward to catching up two weeks of posts. 🙂
