The parrot above is also called a Blue Fronted Amazon which is it’s most commonly called. It’s range extends over eastern and northern Bolivia, eastern Brazil, Paraguay and northern Argentina.

Wonderful photos. Love the one of Amy racing across the causeway. I only count 3 Tsalala cubs…are all 5 still well?

Beautiful pictures! I love the little Nanga cubs – so sweet, and nice to see them doing well. What a great sighting of the lions on the causeway. Are the Majingilane moving back onto Londolozi causing the Lionesses to keep moving with their cubs, to keep them safe?

Hi. I love the photos of the Tsalala cubs but only see four, what happened to the other one? We came end October and watched them playing in the Sand river bed, such a special time. We crossed that causeway when it was bone dry and the whole area was in desperate need of rain. How wonderful to see water in the river and greenery everywhere! But what about that other cub!! Glen

Can we have an update on the lions – we saw them before Xmas and there was concern that two of the cubs had gone missing. There seem to be still only three in the above photos? Have they managed to make a kill yet given the injury to the younger lioness??

Hi Sally,
Yes the Tsalala pride have made a umber of kills and all five cubs are fine and healthy.
