Kate is our most favourite rangers. We are very fond of her, had some great times together. Most of all we have learned so much about the bush from her. A very special person.

Kate is an amazing person and I had the privilege of a bush walk with her and Ranger Mark Nisbet one morning when we requested to walk back to Tree Camp from our morning game drive. I learnt so much along the way as Kate often stopped to point out and talk about the various plants, termite mounds, birds and different animal reactions (Giraffe, Hippo, Impala…thankfully no Lions) to us walking rather than being in the Land Rover. Kate was very gracious and answered all our questions as if she hadn’t been asked them many times before. It was an extraordinary experience that I will never forget. Kate and Tom are very special people and have provided an amazing life for their children – growing up amongst such beauty and surrounded by the wonderful Londolozi community.

Watching and listening to Kate explain how termites fly from their hills each year was a beautiful experience. I could see her love for for Africa, and how all of what she was sharing with us play a part in this world. Thanks Kate!

it is indeed fascinating to read Kate interview and her skills of survival in this male dominated field. she is perfect example of balance in life between job & family and seem to be doing pretty well. after a week stint as a tourist recently in sabisands, i am yearning to visit all the lodges here one day and in particular londolozi & malamala for their fame and diversity in nature they exhibit. would also like to meet their rangers and hear stories of lion experience from them. for this, Kate would be indeed very interesting …..
