Great pictures Andrea. How old are the Tsalala sub adults now?

Having visited Londolozi this past March, we heard the story (and saw) of the lone ostrich. Has she received a name?

Hi Jeff! She is endearingly being called ‘Jennifer’ by the rangers but it is definitely not an official name!

Some wonderful images, Andrea! The Cubs, Piva & Tamboti, the kingfisher, the kudu – really nice!

Absolutely love these photos, except that they make me want to be on a game drive rather desperately! With all the publicity surrounding the poaching in Kruger lately, I’m curious to know if the private game reserves have any poaching at all. I know some (all?) have fences, but fences don’t stop poachers, do they? How does Londolozi, Singita, etc. prevent poaching?

Thanks Andrea for the perfect ending to my week. So good to see a Majingi, Mashaba & a glimpse of Tamboti. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Fabulous photos Andrea. Jillian especially thanks you for the Kudu picture. They were her favorite animal sightings. It’s such a treat to see your pictues. Enjoy!

Fantastic pictures Andrea! Did the Majingilane return to Londolozi recently or have they been back for a while now? Great images of Mashaba and her cubs and nice to see the Tsalala young males looking strong and healthy.

Thanks Jill. The Majingilane were briefly on Singita property recently where I took that shot.

Love the beautiful photos! The Tsalala young male is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing.

There is a female leopard being seen around Arathus/Djuma area. She is blind in her right eye. Looks like Safari’s eye did. Would anyone there know who this pretty leopard is?

Hi Kate great Blog! Are those photos of Mashaba cub near Manuleti East? If so its amazing how often that rocky outcrop is used by Leopards as a den.
