Thanks Trevor for such an interesting update. He sounds truly remarkable at this age to still be around and managing to keep himself fed. Thank you Londolozi for always posting such interesting articles, blogs and pictures.

He is my all time favourite leopard and he was so dominant for so many years and is a real legend of the sabi sands so it really sucks to see him like that but at least he is keeping himself fed and in the best possible condition. Hope he can continue to fight and soldier on for a few more months.

He is the reason why I started to love leopards. Trevor, as the pictures show he’s still a massive leopard, how much time do you think he’s going to be around? Anyway, even as an old man, he’s still the king!

Camp Pan is my most favourite leopard. Will be so sad when he eventually dies. Thanks for the update.

Thanks for this update on a great leopard. I wish Camp Pan success as he adjusts to old age and hope he is around for a long time.

Thank you for all the comments. Camp Pan is such a favourite and has such a rich history.

Every leopard has a story and Camp Pan is really a legend! Its always sad to see a successful older leopard decline, but they can be such amazing survivors. Loved the photos of his tail and the “piercing stare.”

Love this leopard! Thanks for the update. We last saw Camp Pan early in December. He was looking better then than when we had seen him on a chilly morning in June. Hope the coming winter is kind to him.

He is still magnificent and I have no doubt he will end his life on his terms…we were privileged to see him in person.

I love this leopard and am so sad to see him moving into this final stage of his life. Please keep us updated on how he’s doing Trevor. Hopefully he will be able to look after himself and stay well for some time to come yet.
