Awesome videos. The Majingilane story still the best.

Great collection of videos Kate! They are all great, but it doesn’t matter how many times I watch Boyd’s ‘Live Safari’ video, it always makes me cry…just so beautiful and brings out so much emotion. I especially long to be there after watching that.

Absolutely, I could watch Live Safari over and over again, it never tires.

I agree. I mean, I love leopards, especially the Camp Pan male leopard, but the Majingilane story and the way you explained the true nature of male lions totally got me(especially the combined roar in the end of the video). I started reading all your lion blogs(not just the leopard’s ones) and I began to love the Majingis. thank you for all the work you do!

Now…..put my heart back together. There is such a large piece of it left in Londolozi (starting in the ’80s)….I especially like Boyd’s Live Safari and the whole Family video.. All are wonderful. I also like a very old one of Santa Rangers arriving at Happy Homes crèche in Justicia in a red vehicle. Not on this list but one of my favorites. Always makes me smile.

Thank you Kate, these videos are absolutely amazing. The Majingilane story is unbelievable!!! Seeing this video makes all your blogs on the Maji’s so much clearer for me! I would like to ask re the Leopard fight, was it necessary for the guide to “chase” after the leopards as it seemed to scare them?? Is that allowed?

Hi Wendy, glad you enjoyed the videos. To answer your questions about the Leopard fight, the guide was following the movements of the three leopards involved in this particular sighting. The reason they were running was in anticipation of the impending conflict and not because the vehicle was close to them. I hope that answers your question? Thanks again, rich

All of them so wonderfully document the experience of Londolozi. I love the choice of words for the narration…all the people create a symphony. 70 days until I return for the 5th time
