There is a chill in the air as the days shorten and the nights grow longer. The dust that was once settled by the summer rains now lingers in the sky reflected in the sunsets. The tables are turning and the land is beginning to feel the change. The air is dry and the grass is slowly withering before our eyes. I think that what I love most of winter is the light and colors.

There are some crackers there, the buffalo shot is really good-they play havoc with the metering on a camera. I never believed the stories about old male grumpy buffaloes until one day ….
The impala photo is really good, the most widely seen animal but who stops to get a photo and how often will they hang around to get their pictures taken?
