No wonder you often refer to Camp Pan as King of Londolozi – he often gets food prepared by other
and then muscles in – at least he had to expel some energy dragging his meal up a tree – he is such an opportunist – but a great survivor! What a great sighting for you all.

Love that leopard

Hi James well done again or maybe as always. I hope to see Camp Pan in October.

Oh James! I feel for that beautiful Cheetah – he needs food, but have to say that Camp Pan has the size advantage & hope that he gets indigestion from the theft 🙂
Good write-up & beautiful pictures, I could see the speed of the Leopard too!!
Thanks for sharing

Given the Cam Pan male’s great size, I would suggest the folks at Londolozi try to preserve his skull and skeleton once he passes, it would be interesting to see how he stacks up in the record books.

Camp Pan was my favourite leopard. A cheetah realy stood no chance against him. It was an old trick of his to steal a kill.

Hi Marinda;
You’re right! I watched Camp pan steal from cheetahs at least 4 times!
